Azalene's Photo Shoot
This
was my first baby photo shoot and I would like to say thank you to my
friends Quoc and Quynh for letting me put their baby through a 3 hour
session. After some crying, peeing, feeding, soothing and some tense
moments, these are the photos of cute baby Azalene. Thank you guys for
trusting me with your little precious.
Equipments used:
1) Nikon D800
2) Nikon 105mm 2.8 micro
3) Nikon 85mm 1.8
4) Five different lights
5) A tree branch
6) Stuff around the house
7) Light editing in Adobe Lightroom
Things that I learned from the photo shoot:
1) Be patient
2) Have people around to help (Thank you my wonderful girlfriend: Esther) because changing dippers is not fun
3) Try different angles
4) F-stop 3.5 and up works best
5) No direct flashes, just studio lighting or natural lighting
6) Take what the baby gives
7) Big aperture and macro lens captures cute little body parts
8) Get down on the baby's level
9) Shoot in RAW
10) Babies get to eat every 2 or 3 hours: lucky them
